South Carolina PRIVATE INVESTIGATor CE REQUIREMENTS

South Carolina private investigators must complete 12 hours of continuing education (CE) every 24 months to renew their license. Of these 12 hours, at least 4 hours must be presented or specifically approved by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). Extra hours cannot be carried over into the next renewal period.
