But whether you’re in a state like CA, NY, or ID where CE isn’t mandatory, or anywhere else, our courses offer more than just compliance. Why is my state not listed, you ask? Not all courses at PI Education carry all state approvals/accreditations. First, not all states have CE requirements for private investigators, such as AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, HI, ID, IN, ME, MD, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NY, ND, OH, PA, RI, SD, VT, WA, WV, WI, and WY. Secondly, some states have unique rules governing obtaining continuing education. If enrolling in online courses to meet professional requirements, confirm that you choose courses with certificates that meet your needs before enrolling. Each professional must understand the requirements for license renewal or check with the state licensing board and professional organization to become more familiar with their policies on continuing education. Always contact your state licensing or certification board prior to enrolling to confirm that they accept online training.
